‘You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think’ - A. A. Milne

Personality

Kirsten brings herself authentically into the therapy room. She is a bit of a nerd at heart, with a love of medieval history, creative pursuits and exploring the natural world. Outside the clinic, you might find her on a forest stroll, wandering through handmade markets with friends, or getting happily lost down a historical rabbit hole.

Therapy doesn't have to be about having all the answers. Sometimes it starts simply with being curious about yourself, in a space where you feel safe enough to explore.

Areas of Focus

Kirsten is a warm, empathic and curious Psychologist who believes therapy should feel like a space where you, can just be, you. She enjoys walking alongside adults as they make sense of life’s challenges, specifically:

✱ anxiety ✱ depression ✱ sexual wellbeing (eg. anorgasmia, differences in desire) ✱ women's health ✱ sleep difficulties  ✱ elevated stress ✱low motivation, ✱ grief & loss ✱ cross-cultural experiences ✱ adjustment ✱ neurodivergence ✱ sexuality, sex & gender identity exploration and affirming support ✱ single & complex trauma

Kirsten takes a holistic, person-centred and creative approach to therapy. She sees therapy as a safe space to explore what makes us tick, identify the patterns and move forward with intention. She tailors the treatment to the individual, drawing on Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative and other expressive therapies, Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Kirsten does not provide crisis support. Please dial 000 for emergency services or click here for alternative services.
